Chris Evans will no longer return as Captain America. Sadly, Chris Evans will no longer appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the new Captain America 4 - at least not as the titular superhero.
Whether or not Chris Evans will reprise his role of Steve Rogers, aka the first Captain America, is not yet clear, but I think he will no longer play the lead role of Captain (though if the question continues as to who is the shield). The New Captain America in 4, so all bets are off. Having a stacked cast in a single film outing is a main Marvel component at this point.)No start date has been given yet.
